Happiest Baby is looking for an experienced, highly motivated, and detail-oriented data scientist with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. As a data scientist focused on product, you will analyze vast amounts of data related to infant sleep and customer usage to derive meaningful insights. You will provide data-based recommendations for new features and processes to improve customer experience. You will communicate your findings in a clear and concise manner to stakeholders in the form of visualizations and reports. You will work closely with multiple teams including data engineering, research, product, marketing, and operations to turn your insights to actions.  


  • Convert raw data into easily understandable insights, that can then be used in the product or in business processes
  • Build ML/DL and analytics models to understand and predict/improve customer experience, infant sleep, customer retention and engagement
  • Design experiments and suggest statistical approaches to study impact of new features on customer behavior
  • Develop a deep understanding of the product and define future data science projects
  • Collaborate with product managers, research scientists, engineers, and marketing professionals in identifying opportunities for data-driven decision making
  • Communicate findings and results in a language that can be easily understood by stakeholders ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​


  • Master's degree with 3+ years of experience (or bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience) in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience with data analysis and machine learning using Python / R
  • Experience developing algorithms using predictive analytics, ML/DL to improve customer experience
  • Experience with statistical analysis, hypothesis testing, forecasting and data storytelling
  • Experience working with large and complex datasets, and aggregating data using SQL (DBT is a plus)
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills   
  • Experience working with sleep, health and biometrics data is a plus
